HALLOWEEN LBD

Bit late but here's the dress I wore for Halloween! I went out to the club at my uni and everyone was dressed up as crayons, teletubbies, you name it! There was a cash prize for the best dressed and I obviously didn't take part in that!

I couldn't wait to wear this LBD from Topshop that was just hanging in my wardrobe for a few weeks. I was waiting to wear it for the next time I went out...which turned out to be Halloween (very scary outfit, I know). I hardly go out so I grabbed the chance to wear it... I tried to go as a vampire but.... ?!

There was just one problem with this dress... Finding the right bra! The straps on the dress are so thin that all bra straps show underneath. The cups on the strapless bra I own were too big and showed underneath too as there's very little material on this dress! I wore my Chloe Lace Balconette Bra from Boux Avenue in the end and had to chop off the bows. I covered my back with my hair incase any straps were showing, not sure if that worked though!

For makeup, I tried to put on lots of dark eyeshadow, blusher under my eyes to look red and dark lipstick but it all just ended up looking like I was a drag queen who couldn't apply makeup properly. It looked more messed up than scary! I used a Soap and Glory lip and cheek tint to try and look like fake blood but that failed miserably as well, as you can tell.
