Yesterday, I got my hair cut as I just wanted more volume and just a little change. Lets admit it, we all feel good with a hint of confidence after a nice haircut!
I used to only get my hair cut once a year in Hong Kong but these past two years or so I've been getting it cut more often at a RUSH hair salon close to me. I like the way they speak to you first about how you'd like your hair cut and give some advice or recommendation about your hair. Also, I'm in love with the way they blow dry it wavy. In Hong Kong they don't ask much and always blow dry it straight... the same dead straight my hair always is (BORING).
I had a good few inches cut off and I really wasn't bothered, I trust the hairdressers in RUSH, every time I've had it cut there I feel good after! I wanted it to be noticeable little change...Usually, after I cut my hair my parents always say there's no change.
I got the back of my hair cut straight; although I have very thin hair, I don't like the way layers make your hair flick out. The front parts of my hair are chopped to blend in with the back, going downwards (I'm not great at explaining) and I asked for it to be blowdried wavy.
The cut itself takes literally five minutes, it's just the blowdry that takes a long time to get it wavy. Really need to know how they make my hair so silky! The blowdry looks great for about 15 minutes then it starts to flatten out as my hair is naturally dead straight- nothing holds! Even with about half a can of hairspray, it didn't hold..
Prices in RUSH start from £47-£72 and they do student discount of 25%. I used a half price text, which you'll usually receive once you've had your first haircut and signed up!
